Brooke is currently playing Juliet in the Auckland Theatre production of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. The show is slated to run from July 22 – August 14, 2010.
Romeo and Juliet tells the classic tragic story of “two star-crossed lovers” who “take their life” from two houses that are in the midst of a blood feud. It is from this exploration of what it really means to love that we get the quote: “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.”Source: Written by webmistress.

An editorial review had this to say:
“As Juliet, Brooke Williams’s fine balance from virginal princess to insistent diva is remarkably placed with clear expertise. At times Shakespeare’s words burst forth from her like butterflies released from a net. Other times Williams writhes; intoxicated on love as her desires burn for her man. ”
