Auckland Theatre: Romeo and Juliet

Brooke Juliet

"If love hurts, young love hurts the best."

Brooke is currently playing Juliet in the Auckland Theatre production of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. The show is slated to run from July 22 – August 14, 2010.

Romeo and Juliet tells the classic tragic story of “two star-crossed lovers” who “take their life” from two houses that are in the midst of a blood feud. It is from this exploration of what it really means to love that we get the quote: “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.”
